All,
The 146.880 is up and running as a Stand Alone repeater, not linked to the 146.860, 146.980, 146.760, 146.680, 146.900.  It is up at 1 watt TX is my understanding.  Feel free to test it out.  Thank you goes out to the custodians of the repeaters.

Aloha

Beginner's CW Classes

AH6T Joe Tabrah

I received the following message this morning from Alan Maenchen, KH6TU.  This is a great opportunity for those with no CW experience, or like me who was stuck at 8 WPM for 45 years and wanted to improve.  I highly recommend the CW Academy classes and Alan in particular as an instructor.  These classes offer much more than just instruction.  There are practice sessions on zoom with peers, the opportunity to develop great friendships, and a lot of other great resources.
Aloha,

There's a possibility I'll host a beginner CW class starting April 1 or April 5.
That would be at 6pm HST for an hour every Monday and Thursday evening. Let me know if you're interested or if you know anyone else interested.

I couldn’t go to the club meeting either because I didn’t get the Zoom link until yesterday even though I told all net participates on my Monday night net of the scheduled Club meeting and that no net will be held on Tuesday evening due to the club meeting.
May I suggest that we have the club meeting next Tuesday evening to make up for this mistake. It’s only fair that we make up the meeting to honor the club membership dues and for tax purposes. We can do this one time only and fix whatever issue that prevented members from attending the scheduled club meeting.

All BCC;
Apologies for sending out the invite to the EARC General Membership Meeting late, yesterday morning.  It's probable that many of you are receiving email in digest format, meaning you more than likely didn't receive the invite until last night, after the meeting had finished.  It is announced that the meeting is on the 3rd Tuesday and if you missed it, you are like me as I forgot to send the invite until yesterday.  Thanks Heather for your presentation on Simplex, thanks to all who showed up and thanks to all or your support for Amateur Radio.

Aloha

Re: Windward Oahu Winlink Net - this Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 8 PM

NH6XL Steven Minakami

Michael,

Sorry, I'm not able to make the net this evening.

If possible, can you record your start and end time and the head count or logging callsigns of who checked in for the net? I'll calculate the man-hours for your exercise and submit it to Clem.

I will probably be home later this evening, but pretty sure it will definitely be after the start of the net and could be after everything is over.

Thank you Michael
Steven, NH6XL

CQ EARC members,

Thanks to everyone for your support through the interesting year that was 2020. We're still around, with hopes in 2021 that vaccines and such will cause a turning point in this pandemic and maybe we can gather for regular meetings and Field Day again...hope and pray.

Renewal season is still ongoing, and as of now we have 61 members renewed.

Dues are still $20.00 and will remain so for the foreseeable future. You can pay your dues at this link: http://www.earchi.org/member_pay.html

or by mail at:
